On Saturday we drove to Napili beach again (cause we love it and Cyp wanted to go). Unfortunately, the waves were not so great on Saturday. Plus, there was poo in the water. I thought I cruise ship had gone by and flushed, but it turns out it was just some turtles. I had been complaining that there was poo in the water (no one really believed me until Tracey cut a piece in half). I guess someone else was concerned too as next thing we knew the MFD (Maui Fire Department) was out investigating. Turns out it was turtle poo. We got the lowdown from dad who is never afraid to go and ask questions. This led to much discussion about the quality of turtle poo verses human poo. We all decided that human poo would not stay so solid in the ocean water. Wonder what makes turtle poo so resistant to ocean waves. Hmm.
