New Patio Furniture

I've turned into this crazy shopping person and today we got patio furniture. I did buy it off Gumtree (kinda like Craigslist) but I got upsold by the person selling it. It was kinda funny. The person selling it has a 7 month old baby - she and her husband live in a fairly nice Queenslander. Anyway - the reason they are selling it is because they are painting their house (the outside deck) and the husband got tired of moving it in and out of their house so just said "sell it" They had already sold their dining room furniture as they were using the patio furniture - so now I'm not sure what they are going to do.

She was selling a four person table and a six person table - I was only going to buy the six person table but then she said - are you sure you don't want the four person table as well - they are a set and I found myself agreeing. If we have to move in a year we are going to be in for it. The furniture is made out of gumtree and is very heavy.

Rowan appears to be better today. He was very pathetic baby last night and just kinda sat on my lap as I ate dinner - didn't even attempt to put anything in his mouth. He knew it would just come back. We managed to get him to sleep without me nursing him - all he really wanted was company, which I gave him for a bit and then sent Cyp in. Today he didn't eat much but by dinner he was ready to give it a go again. His favourite food is broccoli and he mowed it down (as Tracey would say). He seems to be back to his old self and Ellis is definitely better too (although he keeps saying - I won't be sick the day after tomorrow.").

We also had our makeup swimming lesson today - Ellis kept saying how happy he was that Cyp was there. I felt a tad apprehensive - quite worried that Rowan would barf in the pool, but he did not. Phew - that would have been bad. You're probably all thinking - "what! she took him to a swim lesson the day after he was barfing!" but he seemed fine - it was a weird stomach bug - Ellis really didn't seem too affected by it - his energy level was almost the same and he said he felt fine when he wasn't barfing.

I will attempt to take him to school again tomorrow. Wish me luck - wonder if he can barf on command. He keeps saying he will still be sick tomorrow....
