Bye Granita

I think we both woke up just before 4:30 - I sprang out of bed and through on the clothes that I had piled there the night before. We loaded up the car and then I grabbed the kids. Ellis first "is it morning time?" I grabbed his dog, but of course should have grabbed froggy. I had to go back. I grabbed Rowan next. Both kids were full on awake to the airport. Ellis wondered why I was using the GPS.

"I don't count on my brain being able to function this early in the morning."

Fortunately the kids were both still groggy so didn't go careening through the empty airport - I hadn't brought a stroller for Rowan. Granita got herself checked in (they even could check her bag through to Vancouver even though she was switching airlines) and then we saw her off. Fortunately not awake enough for the realization to set in. Bye Granita -we will miss you a lot - remember to be logged into gmail whenever you are home so we can chat on the computer!

We went home - both kids were still wide awake. It is going to be a long day. Ugh.
