We woke up this morning to one of those fantastic tropical sunrises - quite nice off our huge balcony overlooking the ocean. I wondered why we were leaving again. I'm feeling a little worried about Fraser Island - everyone keeps telling me to make sure to keep a very close on the children - dingoes you know. Oh, and then they keep saying that it is quite something getting the 4 x 4 onto the barge to go across to the island. Waves you know. I guess a lot of tourists get taken out. Not to mention when I was talking to Barb...I told her we were going to Fraser Island "don't rent a 4 x 4" she said. "too late." I said. "forget I said anything." she said. "too late." I thought. So, I've been imagining us getting taken out by a rogue wave and then when I'm not imagining that, I'm thinking about us stuck in quicksand. To date, the trip has not been too relaxing.... I wonder what it will be like soon?
