Expressions I Must Remember not to Use

Had a mini interview with a couple of potential babysitters yesterday. Ellis fell over one point and grabbed his elbow in pain.

"Did you bonk your elbow?"

That got a look.

I realize I've used that before - I seem to recall it might have been out and about on a citycat or ferry. No wonder people looked at me funny.

Must purge that one from my vocab.
