G. Anita's First Day

It seems that Cyp and Anita slept well - they both woke up at 2 am but managed to get back to sleep. Our swimming lessons are at 10 now (in the hopes that Rowan won't fall asleep on the way there) and as it usually takes me till about 9:30 to get ready so that is our morning.
The lessons went well - Ellis loves swimming now and Rowan is a superstar. His teacher keeps saying "I have never taught a baby like him - he just loves the water and seems to instinctively know what to do." Ok- I'm being a bragging mom I know - but he is a Pisces and has always seemed to love the water. I haven't always loved putting him in the water (being a nervous nelly and all) - It took me a while to trust that floaty ring that Tracey gave us.

Afterwards we came home had lunch and Ellis found the remaining haul in G. Anita's bag. She was going to meet it out slowly but Ellis has a sniffer nose for toys. He got put in charge of Rowan's hologram bookmark that Suzy sent - he got one and Rowan got one but Ellis got to pick the one he wanted. Then at lunch he started to munch on them.

"don't do that - they will get wrecked. You can munch on yours if you like."

"i don't want to munch on mine - I want to wreck Rowan's."

"At least he's honest." said G. Anita.

I think Ellis wanted to stay home and play with Granita all day as I couldn't even tempt him with GOMA but finally I hit on the waterpark at Seventeen Mile Rocks so off we went.

It was cold - brrr. Rowan seemed reluctant to get in but finally I coaxed him in. It is like a river and he could slowly walk down it - unfortunately, he hit a bit of downslope and couldn't stop and plunged in face first - BRRRRR - SCREAM. After that he stood on the side and threw things in - leaves, Ellis's shoes...

Ellis raced up and down the river with the boats I brought.
