Today was Tuesday - we had to wait for our grocery delivery as I couldn't commit the other day so lost the prime 6:30 am to 9:30 delivery spot. While waiting Ellis and I finished off our gingerbread men. Ellis was very careful in putting on the smarties - just the men - he didn't want to waste them on the round cookies but save them for later. Little does he know that he has an evil mummy that loves smarties. heh heh - "ok Ellis - save them for mummy - oh I mean later."
After that we had a dance session - Cyp wirelessly hooked up the stereo. Granita used up her camera memory filming them so had no camera to take to the zoo which we decided to try again after our aborted attempt on Sunday. You'll note her drawing the animals in some of the pictures.
The zoo turned out to be a winner again. This time we got to watch the entire sheep dog show including the sheep shearing.
Ellis was fascinated by the kangaroo that poohed and peed while Granita fed him and we finally found the platypus. The animals all seemed to be out and about so Granita had a good time. She liked it so much, she got a pass - we will be going back. It's a good place to spend a couple of hours.
